Tonga Forest Floor Block of the Month (12 months)


This BOM is currently sold out. Thank you for your interest. The Forest Floor quilt by Wing and a Prayer is a twist on tradition featuring twelve, 12" blocks nestled in a log cabin setting. Both novice and skilled quilters will enjoy piecing this luscious quilt made with Tonga Batiks by Timeless Treasures. This is a 12 month BOM where you will receive your pattern pages and fabrics each month to make the block(s). BOM starts June 2017. Only 12 signups available. Reservation fee is $24. Monthly fee is $22 with 12th month free if you complete the previous months. The complete kit will also be available for purchase for $247 plus applicable tax and shipping. Please complete the information in the form below. We will invoice you for the registration fee and notify you when the fabric arrives and kits are ready.

Classes


Carol DeArment will be teaching these 7-session, 4-hour classes using "Start Quilting with Alex Anderson, 3rd Ed" as the text book. First class will be purchasing book (if you don't already have it), fabric selection and cutting techniques. No sewing machine required for 1st class. Must bring for all other sessions: sewing machine w/power cord, foot or knee controller, 1/4 inch sewing foot and machine instruction book. Also usual sewing supplies: rotary cutter (new blades and cutters available for sale) machine needles (size 80), ripper, thread, rulers, templates, pins/pincushion and fabric kit. Supplies and fabric kit available for purchase.

Cost: $ 140.00
Carol DeArment will be teaching this 6 hour class making the Tuxedo Quilt using the 7.5 or 6.5 inch X-block template. Student can choose size. Cotton Boll Quilting carries 7.5 inch size. Bring sewing machine w/power cord, foot or knee controller and 1/4 inch sewing foot. Also usual sewing supplies: rotary cutter (new blades and cutters available for sale) needles, ripper, thread, rulers, template, fabric kit. Fabric kit available for purchase however, recommend students come by shop before class date to pick out fabric for kit.
