Cutting, Shipping and Return Policies
Thank you for shopping Cotton Boll Quilting! Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions!
First, when you order online using Paypal, it uses your stored address, email and phone number. If you haven't used Paypal in a while, it might not have your most correct shipping/contact information. If you choose to pay by credit card, you get to add your information. After placing your order, you will get an email confirmation almost immediately. If you don't see the email, please check your spam folder. Look at your order to see that the shipping information and your contact information are correct. If not, please contact me immediately so I ship to the correct address and can contact you with questions! If you accidentally ordered the wrong fabric or incorrect amounts, also contact me. I can make adjustments before cutting!
We make every effort to cut and ship the amount of fabric you ordered! When we have less that the amount ordered and you indicate to "send what you have", I will write any adjustments on the copy of your order that I include in your package. I also change the amount you are receiving in your online order history after the purchase has been closed out in the system. If you request that I contact you if I don't have the correct amount, I will try to text you. If your number is a land line, I will email you. If I haven't heard from you by the next day the shop is open I will try to call you. To avoid delays, please provide a mobile number with your order. When it looks like you are ordering backing fabric and I am short or find the fabric on the bolt is in multiple pieces, I will usually contact you to discuss.
We are closing our business. When there is less than 1/2 yd left on the bolt, I hope you don't mind if we add it to your order. If it is less than 1/8 yd (4.5 inches), we will add this to your order at no charge. If you would like to add all end of bolt amounts to your order up to a certain amount (ie. upto 1/2 yd), just send a note with your order or text me separately.
We have always tried our best to ship your merchandise order within 3-5 business days. However, with our closing sale we have been overwhelmed with the response. Shipping is now taking to 5 - 7 days, but we are getting better and faster every day. If there is an unusual reason for delay, we will contact you via email or phone number you supplied.
While the shipping/handling charge estimator works it's little heart out, this is an estimate only but it seems to come out pretty close except when you have a large order. If you are ordering a large amount of fabric, especially wide backing, and exceed 14 lbs in the estimate, it may default to $150. I will still only charge you the actual amount required. We use USPS for all shipping. When you select priority mail shipping we automatically adjust the charge to the actual amount of shipping/handling. We cram as much fabric into the smallest packaging possible. If your order is 2 yds or less or a light-weight item such as a pattern, we will ship first class and reduce the price of shipping before closing out your order.
I am unable to provide quilting services at this time. However, I have a list of quilters who do excellent work and will be happy to refer them according to your needs and their specialties! Same goes for making, piecing or binding quilts. Just contact me as I have some great referrals.
Sales are final and no returns. That said, while we try to be perfect, on the rare occasion I have sent the wrong fabric. If you notice this, please do not remove it from the plastic bag and contact me so I can resolve the issue.
